Hi Jo How are you, it is good to read your adventures - what a busy time and lovely to see the photo of your chuchu. Sorry I have not kept in touch with you/all our classmates/kawan2. Busy, what a lousy excuse but it is true. I went on holidays end of May, back mid June, so much behind with everything. I 'climbed' the Great Wall when I visited Beijing early June. One & half hours of serious walking - UP & UP. It was very tiring on a hot Saturday afternoon.
Time flew back. Steve came home for 3 weeks holiday and he went back to Dalian last Wed. Jareth has started 1st year at Edinburgh Unversity, it is a beautiful City and weather was gorgeous when we were there, saying goodbye is not easy. We hardly had any summer in July and August, raining almost everyday. But we have had at least 10 days of dry sunny days in Sept - keeps me going for winter.
I managed to skyped See Chou this afternoon - good chat and great to see him.
Going to sign off. Best regards to everyone and will keep in touch on the blog/email. Connie
Oh great, to have you back Connie. It has been a while alright but nevermind as long as you are having fun with your life.
Jamilah and myself never walked the Wall so high I remember it was just the 2nd station just after the "love padlocks" they have alongside the Walls...
Between the hillside and the sea, We work and play here in harmony, May love and service and loyalty, Bring wider vision of unity.
May we love beauty the hills and sea, Find solace in music and sweet poetry, May we love learning and cherish peace, Quiet and stillness when labour cease.
