My nieces are there now...
For those in Miri, this is a normal sight. But our friends far and beyond can see how the school looks today.

I always make it a point to drive through the tuckshop/graveyard road to my dad's hse in Kpg Luak, Tg Lobang; felt like pulling over, walk around the area and looking at one of the classrooms which was once ours. The rubber tree still standing tall? Something in that stretch of road is bringing a tear to my eyes
Mis, don't know about the rubber trees, the boys used to play "Tarzan", behind the toilet (Primary). But, I don know security is obvious now. There is a guard at the entrance. Still a go zone but with permission I guess.
Joe, Why didn't u take the science lab building that was built thru our sweat during the joggerthon in 75 or 76 organised by the school PIBG..remember? We have to run across the old ferry n the old hospital until Piasau Camp then back to school. Dunno how many of us still remember that time.
Between the hillside and the sea, We work and play here in harmony, May love and service and loyalty, Bring wider vision of unity.
May we love beauty the hills and sea, Find solace in music and sweet poetry, May we love learning and cherish peace, Quiet and stillness when labour cease.
